What it is
Meetups are ticketed evenings that diners book on DealsBanana and attend at a restaurant: a tasting menu, a chai evening, a singles night, a ladies night. For a diner they are the easiest way to try a place with company; for you they are a full room on a night that would have been quiet.
How it works
- A restaurant proposes an evening — the format, the date, the price, the seats — and we publish the event page.
- Diners book a seat; paid tickets are charged at booking and each ticket carries a QR pass.
- The door scans passes on the night; a repeat scan is flagged so nobody gets in twice on one ticket.
- After the confirm deadline the money is settled and the restaurant is paid its share.
What it costs
Included on every plan, including Free. Free to browse and book; the ticket price is set by the host and shown on the event page, including when it is free or paid at the venue. Plans and prices are on the pricing page.
