Customer Agreement
The terms you accept when you create a DealsBanana account, claim a coupon, or pay for anything through us.
1. INTRODUCTION
These Customer Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the DealsBanana platform located at dealsbanana.com ("Platform"). DealsBanana is operated by Manviga LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("DealsBanana," "we," "us"). The Platform is an agent-first food coupon marketplace covering the Platform's published business categories (restaurants, sweets/mithai, cafes/chai/coffee, bakeries, frozen desserts, beverages, packaged goods, caterers, and food trucks) where food vendors ("Vendors") publish coupons, and customers ("You," "User," "Customer," or "Diner") browse and claim those coupons to redeem in person at the Vendor's location. Most coupons are free to claim. Some carry a claim price, which is shown before you claim it, and some products are paid for through the Platform: prepaid vouchers and packs, tickets to a Vendor's event, a deposit on a catering job or an event space, and LunchBox office lunch where that is available. Section 12 and the Refund Policy govern each of those. When you redeem a coupon, the meal itself is paid for directly to the Vendor at the time you redeem it, and DealsBanana does not deliver it. LunchBox is the one exception: a LunchBox order is paid for through the Platform when you place it and is delivered to the reception desk of your office building (Section 7.5).
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY BEFORE CREATING AN ACCOUNT OR CLAIMING YOUR FIRST COUPON. BY COMPLETING REGISTRATION AND CLICKING "I AGREE," YOU CONFIRM THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS.

5. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES AND CONDUCT
5.1 Lawful Use
You agree to use the Platform only for legal purposes and in accordance with all applicable laws. You will not:
- Use the Platform for illegal activities
- Attempt to defraud vendors, DealsBanana, or other customers
- Engage in collusion with other customers
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to claim coupons in bulk or otherwise manipulate the Platform
5.2 Prohibited Conduct
You must not:
- Harass, threaten, or abuse vendors or DealsBanana staff
- Post hateful, obscene, or discriminatory content in reviews or communications
- Impersonate another person or organization
- Falsely claim that you are a food critic or influencer to receive coupons, discounts, or free food
- Engage in "review manipulation" (posting fake reviews, coordinated negative campaigns, etc.)
- Share your account credentials or allow unauthorized use
5.3 Fraudulent Activity
Fraudulent behavior includes, but is not limited to:
- Claiming coupons in bulk or beyond per-customer limits to resell, hoard, or deprive other diners
- Reproducing, forging, altering, or transferring a coupon QR code
- Attempting to redeem an expired, already-redeemed, or invalid coupon
- Misrepresenting group size or other coupon conditions at redemption
- Providing false information during registration
- Creating multiple accounts to circumvent per-customer claim limits
Consequence: First offense results in account suspension; second offense results in permanent ban.
6. CLAIMING COUPONS
6.1 What a Coupon Is
Vendors publish coupons on the Platform for the Platform's published business categories (restaurants, sweets/mithai, cafes/chai/coffee, bakeries, frozen desserts, beverages, packaged goods, caterers, and food trucks). Each coupon states its own terms, which may include:
- The discount or offer it provides
- A validity window and expiry date
- The quantity available
- Redemption conditions such as a minimum spend, dine-in vs. takeout, specific days or time windows, blackout dates, or a daily redemption cap — where the Platform supports it, these are checked automatically at the moment of redemption
- For "meetup" or group coupons, a group-size condition the Vendor confirms in person at redemption
The Vendor — not DealsBanana — sets and is responsible for these coupon terms.
6.2 Claiming Is Usually Free
- Most coupons are free to claim. A coupon that carries a claim price shows that price before you claim, and you are charged it at claim.
- DealsBanana adds no hidden fee. Anything you pay through the Platform (a claim price, a prepaid voucher or pack, an event ticket, a catering or event-space deposit, or a LunchBox order) is shown with its price before you pay.
- When you claim a coupon, DealsBanana issues you a QR code that represents your claim.
- A claim is not a purchase of food and does not reserve, prepare, or guarantee any food. It is an offer published by the Vendor that you may redeem in person, subject to the coupon's terms and availability.
6.3 Claim Limits and Conditions
- Coupons may be limited to one claim per customer, or otherwise limited by quantity, as stated on the coupon.
- A claimed coupon is personal to your account and is non-transferable unless the coupon expressly states otherwise.
- You must claim a coupon while it is valid and available; coupons may sell out or expire.
- Creating multiple accounts or using automated tools to exceed claim limits is prohibited (see Section 5).
6.4 Paying for Food
- When you redeem a coupon, the food you buy is paid for directly to the Vendor, in person, at the time of redemption. The coupon discounts the in-store price you pay the Vendor; DealsBanana is not a party to that transaction.
- When you place a LunchBox order, you pay through the Platform when you order, using Stripe. The order is prepared by the Vendor and delivered to your building's reception (Section 7.5). The Refund Policy sets out when it can be cancelled.
- Prepaid vouchers, packs, tickets and deposits are paid through the Platform as described in Section 12 and the Refund Policy.
6.5 Promotions
- A coupon, and any promotional terms it carries, apply only as stated on the coupon.
- Coupons and promotions are non-transferable and have expiration dates.
- Abuse of coupons or promotions (fraud, forging QR codes, exceeding claim limits, etc.) will result in:
- Cancellation of the affected coupon(s)
- Possible account suspension or ban
7. REDEMPTION
Coupons are redeemed in person, for dine-in or pickup only, at the Vendor's location. DealsBanana does not deliver food bought with a coupon. The only delivery DealsBanana arranges is LunchBox office lunch (Section 7.5).
7.1 How Redemption Works
- Present your coupon's QR code to the Vendor at their location.
- The Vendor scans or verifies the QR code and applies the coupon to your in-store purchase.
- You pay the Vendor directly, in person, for any food you buy. The coupon discounts that in-store price.
- Each coupon may be redeemed once, unless the coupon expressly states otherwise.
7.2 Coupon Terms, Validity, and Expiry
Redemption is subject to the terms stated on the coupon, including:
- The coupon's validity window and expiry date — an expired coupon cannot be redeemed
- Any quantity limits or availability
- Any redemption conditions the Vendor has set — minimum spend, dine-in vs. takeout, day-of-week or time-window restrictions, blackout dates, or a daily redemption cap — checked automatically where the Platform supports it
- For "meetup" or group coupons, the group-size condition, which the Vendor confirms in person at redemption
Important: If you attempt to redeem a coupon that has expired, has already been redeemed, or whose conditions are not met:
- The Vendor may decline to honor the coupon
- DealsBanana is not responsible for a coupon you failed to redeem in time or whose conditions you did not meet
- An unredeemed or expired coupon has no cash value and is not refundable (see Section 9)
7.3 Food Quality and Condition
Because you receive and inspect your food in person at the Vendor's location, any concern about food quality, condition, accuracy, or temperature is between you and the Vendor at the point of service. You should:
- Inspect your food before leaving the Vendor (for pickup) or before consuming it (for dine-in)
- Confirm that items match what you ordered from the Vendor
- Raise any issue directly with the Vendor at the time of service
DealsBanana does not prepare, handle, sell, or deliver food and is not a party to your in-person food purchase.
7.4 Food Safety and Allergies
You are responsible for:
- Reviewing the coupon's full details and terms before claiming or redeeming it
- Checking allergen information displayed by the Vendor or available at the Vendor's location
- Communicating any allergies or dietary restrictions directly to the Vendor at the time of purchase
- Confirming that items are safe for your consumption
DealsBanana and Vendors are not responsible for allergic reactions caused by:
- Failure to read allergen warnings
- Not communicating allergies clearly
- Cross-contamination that occurs during preparation
7.5 LunchBox Office Lunch (where available)
- Ordering. You pre-order by the ordering cutoff shown for your building (usually 11:00 local time) and pay when you order.
- Delivery to reception. A driver arranged by DealsBanana or the Vendor delivers the box to the reception desk or lobby of your office building around the ready time shown on your order (usually 12:30). It is never delivered to a home or an individual door. Responsibility for the box passes to you when it is left at reception.
- Tracking. While a delivery run is under way you can see the driver's latest location and estimated arrival on your order page. You tap "I collected it" when you pick it up.
- Cancelling. You can cancel for a full refund until the ordering cutoff. After the cutoff the Vendor is cooking and the order cannot be cancelled or refunded. A box left uncollected is not refunded. Report a missing or wrong box from your order page straight away.
- Food. The Vendor prepares the food and is responsible for its contents, allergens and safety. Ask the Vendor about allergies before ordering.
- Promotions. A launch price or other promotion applies only on the terms shown with it (see Promotions and the LunchBox Terms).
8. CUSTOMER REVIEWS AND RATINGS
8.1 Review Posting
You may leave reviews and ratings (1-5 stars) after redeeming a coupon at a Vendor. Reviews must:
- Be based on your actual experience with the Vendor
- Be truthful and not misleading
- Not contain false, defamatory, or abusive content
- Not reveal personal information about the Vendor or its staff
- Not be used to extort coupons, discounts, or favors from the Vendor
8.2 Prohibited Review Content
You must not post reviews that:
- Are fake, fabricated, or paid for
- Are posted by someone other than the actual customer
- Contain threats, harassment, or abusive language
- Promote competing restaurants or services
- Attempt to manipulate ratings or rankings
- Violate someone's privacy or defame them
8.3 Review Removal and Consequences
DealsBanana may remove reviews that violate these terms. If you post prohibited content:
- First offense: Review removal and warning
- Second offense: 30-day posting suspension
- Third offense: Permanent review posting ban or account suspension
9. REFUNDS AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
9.1 What You Can Pay For, and What Is Refundable
Most coupons are free to claim, and where nothing was paid there is nothing to refund. Where you do pay us, the Refund Policy governs and states the rule for each product: a paid coupon claim, a prepaid voucher or pack, a ticket to a Vendor's event, a deposit on a catering job or an event space, and a scheduled lunch pre-order where that is available. That policy is the operative document; this section does not restate its windows, which are set as platform settings and shown to you before you pay.
- Any food you buy in person is paid directly to the Vendor; a refund for that food is a matter between you and the Vendor under the Vendor's own policies and applicable law.
- A coupon has no cash value, cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash, and cannot be transferred for value.
- A free coupon that expires unredeemed is not refundable and confers no entitlement to compensation. Where you paid a claim price, the Refund Policy applies instead.
- Credit returned to your DealsBanana wallet can be spent on the Platform and cannot be withdrawn as cash.
9.2 Vendor-Side Food Issues
If you have an issue with the food, accuracy, or service you received in person:
- Raise it directly with the Vendor at the time of service.
- DealsBanana does not prepare, sell, or deliver food and is not a party to your in-person purchase, so it does not issue food refunds.
9.3 Coupon Issues
If a coupon itself does not work as published (for example, a Vendor refuses to honor a valid, unexpired coupon whose conditions you have met), you may report it to DealsBanana so it can investigate the Vendor's listing. Reporting a coupon issue does not entitle you to a payment from DealsBanana.
9.4 Dispute Resolution Process
Step 1: Contact the Vendor
- Contact the Vendor about the issue at the time of, or promptly after, your visit
- Provide photos or other evidence of the issue
- Give the Vendor a reasonable opportunity to respond and attempt resolution
Step 2: Escalate to DealsBanana
- If the Vendor does not respond or refuses to help, contact DealsBanana support
- Provide documentation: coupon details, the QR code or claim reference, photos, communications
- Include the Vendor's response (or lack thereof)
Step 3: DealsBanana Investigation
- DealsBanana will review all evidence
- May request additional information from you or the Vendor
- Decision will be made within 5 business days
- You will be notified of the outcome via email/app
Step 4: Final Appeal (if applicable)
- If you disagree with DealsBanana's decision, you may appeal once
- Submit new evidence or documentation
- Final appeal decision is binding
