Questions

How early should I ask for Diwali catering?+

As early as you can: festive weekends are the busiest catering dates of the year, and kitchens quote first-come. Two to three weeks ahead gives you the most choice; a few days can still work for smaller orders.

Can I ask for pure-vegetarian, Jain or no onion and garlic food?+

Yes. Pick the dietary needs on the request and add a note; caterers see them before they quote, and you can ask them directly in your private thread.

Can I order sweets or a small puja prasad?+

Yes — put the item and quantity in the request. Smaller orders are welcome; caterers set their own minimum guest counts, shown on each one.

Do I need an account?+

No. You get a private link to your quotes, and we email it to you as well. There is no password.

What does it cost me?+

Nothing to post, and nothing to get quotes. If you book, you pay a 30% deposit to confirm and the balance later; the caterer pays DealsBanana a 10% commission on the job.

How does catering work?+

Post what you need (guests, date, cuisine, city) and matching caterers send quotes. You can ask them questions on the platform without sharing your number. Accept one, pay the deposit, and the introduction is made. The balance is paid later.

When does a caterer see my contact details?+

Only once your booking is confirmed. Until then every message goes through DealsBanana with phone numbers and emails removed automatically — for both of you.

How do I get back to my quotes?+

Open the link from the confirmation page or the email. It is yours alone — anyone with the link can see the quotes, so keep it to yourself.

What if no caterer replies?+

Then nothing happens and you have lost nothing — no charge, no account to close. You will hear from us either way, and you can post again with a different date, city or cuisine.
