Questions

How early should I book a hall for Diwali?+

Now, if you can: the Saturday and Sunday around Diwali are the first dates to go. Enquiring is free, and the date is held under your conversation while the venue replies.

Can we light diyas or do a puja in the hall?+

Ask: it is part of the checklist every venue answers (open flame for havan or diya, prayer or puja space). Only answered questions are shown, so a blank never reads as a no.

Can the food be pure-vegetarian or Jain?+

Many restaurant halls cook in-house; the checklist shows whether a venue offers a pure-vegetarian kitchen, Jain food or cooking without onion or garlic, and whether an outside caterer is allowed.

Do I pay to enquire or a deposit?+

Enquiring is free. A deposit is only taken if the venue asks for one to confirm; you pay it by card, with the amount and refund window shown first. The event itself is between you and the venue.

I run a restaurant with a hall. How do I get festive bookings?+

Create a free DealsBanana account (or claim your listing), add your space with capacity, photos and the checklist, and publish. Enquiries arrive with the date, guest count and occasion on them.
